If your little one is a fan of Our Generation dolls from Target or My Life As dolls from Walmart you know either way, you’re going to spend some green on the clothes, play sets, and accessories. Though these dolls aren’t as expensive as an American Girl doll, they’re still pricey playthings. Since we comparison shop absolutely everything, we decided to look at My Life As vs Our Generation dolls and prices at their respective sellers. We found a handful of comparable dolls and accessories, so we can tell you who sells them for less.

Here’s our comparison and our breakdown of why Target’s Our Generation dolls came out as the winner. We broke it down to price per piece. That means if a doll comes with two accessories, we calculated the price per all three pieces to see which was the better value overall.

Based on price per piece, this one’s a tie at $0.89! Here you might be wondering how Walmart’s $57 price can win over Target’s $47.23 (reg $55.99) tag. It’s because you have to use a Target Circle offer on top of a 10% off sale, plus pay with a RedCard to get the price per piece down to equal Walmart’s everyday price.
